PRN Phlebotomist
Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. Ryan White Outreach Specialist
SMF, a community health center nationally recognized for quality services, has a Full-time position for a Ryan White Outreach Specialist. As a part of the Ryan White Program, this person will report to the Ryan White Program Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting HIV Counseling and Testing among specified high risk populations, implementing risk reduction counseling, linking newly diagnosed patients to medical care, reengaging previously diagnosed into medical care, providing referrals to required essential support services, maintaining accurate documentation and managing data collection and entry of all client level statistics into the program database. A basic working knowledge of HIV/STIs, and valid SC driver’s license, transportation, and insurance are required. Candidate must exhibit the ability to work effectively both with a team and independently. Person must be available to work some events during evenings and weekends. High school diploma with equivalent combination of HIV education and experience in community education required. Referral Specialist

SMF is looking for a Full-time Referral Specialist. The Referral Specialist works with patients requiring a referral for a test or to a specialist office, to ensure patient’s referral needs are fulfilled for tests and specialty service office visits. Processes orders for tests and referrals, authorizations and pre-certifications for patients, to ensure timely reimbursements. Follows up on all test and referrals to specialist office until the documentation is received and scanned into the system for reconciliation. Must have a Medical Assistant background. Position will be in located in Camden, SC.
