Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. COVID – 19 Drive-thru Testing Sites (new!)
New testing sites in McBee & Pageland: Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. (SMF), in response to comminity need, launched drive-thru testing sites Tuesday, May 5 in McBee and May 7 in Pageland. This is in addition to a Camden testing location. McBee will be at SMF’s McBee medical office on Tuesdays, and Pageland will be at the Pageland Chamber of Commerce (beside Town Hall) on Thursdays.

Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. opened a drive-thru COVID-19 testing site on Monday, 23, 2020.

Testing is *available on Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays, 8:30am – 5:00pm, *unless otherwise noted.
*Camden testing site will be closed May 25

All Sandhills Medical testing sites, Camden, McBee & Pageland, are open to the general public, but everyone must have an appointment. A new type of test is now being utilized as 5/4 that is not as uncomfortable as older type. This new test swab is very similar to a flu test.

PROCESS: Call 1- 877-529-4339 to register, for appropriate screening, and instructions & directions.
Depending on screening, you will be scheduled an appointment.
You will drive to the testing area for additional screening, and tested for COVID-19 while remaining in your vehicle.
Your results will be available in 1 to 3 days. A clinician or nurse will call you with your results.
You will be provided additional information about COVID-19 and a self-monitoring sheet to check fever and symptoms daily.
You will need to self-quarantine until your results return.
Central registration will take insurance information from patients over the phone; no billing will be conducted on-site.
No co-pays or deductibles will be charged.
Testing will be free for uninsured patients.
