Andrew “Drew” Murphy joined the Sandhills Medical clinical team in October 2015. A long-time resident of Summerville, SC, Drew brings over a decade of dedicated healthcare experience to our patient community, combining a high-level academic background with a versatile clinical approach.

Drew earned his Master of Health Science from Duke University, one of the nation’s top-ranked programs. Prior to his graduate studies, he developed a strong clinical foundation as a Heart and Vascular Technician at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). At Sandhills Medical, Drew provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. He possesses a unique clinical interest in zoonotic health (illnesses and injuries related to animal contact), bridging his background in Veterinary Science with modern human medicine.

Outside of the clinic, Drew is a devoted husband and father. An avid soccer fan and aquarium enthusiast, he also enjoys exploring paleontology (a self-proclaimed dinosaur lover) and the latest in video game technology.
