Dr. Laura Alberg joined Sandhills Medical in 2019 and provides compassionate, comprehensive pediatric care at the Lugoff office. Board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), she brings decades of clinical experience dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of infants, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Alberg is committed to delivering high-quality, family-centered primary care. Her practice encompasses routine wellness exams, preventative healthcare, acute illness management, and long-term developmental tracking, working closely alongside families to cultivate healthy environments for growing children.
Dr. Alberg earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University before receiving her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She went on to complete her pediatric residency training at Georgetown University Hospital. Her extensive academic background and long-standing private practice experience serve as a foundation for her high standard of pediatric care.
